St Peter, Old Cogan

St Peters is probably the oldest building in Penarth, and is situated in a beautiful location easily accessed from Penarth by footpath, or along 'mile-road' through Cosmeston Lakes park.
Services are currently held here monthly on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 3pm, and the church is also opened on occasions throughout the rest of the month. But even if it's shut, pop by and appreciate the building and history from the outside, and enjoy the peace of the surrounding churchyard and ancient trees.
