Christian faith and politics is the subject of a webinar with the former Archbishop of Canterbury this month.Dr Rowan Williams, who is chair of Christian Aid, will focus on Pope Francis’ latest encyclical. The event, Christian Faith and the Renewal of Christian Politics, is organised by Revd Rana Khan, Rector of Catwg Ministry Area and Bishop's Officer for World Mission in the Diocese of Swansea and Brecon.Revd Rana says, "The world we live in is facing severe, political crises. The challenges related to ecology, authoritarian nationalism, militancy and many others raise the urgency of political wisdom. Christian faith can build a more just and peaceful world by renewing our politics. Dr Williams will lead us in exploring how Christian faith can foster such renewal and build a more just and peaceful world.”To register for the webinar on November 21, email events@crickhowellparish.org.uk
