Hundreds gather for Youth Night at Swansea Minster

Hundreds of young people gathered at Swansea Minster for the latest Youth Night, an ecumenical worship event drawing teenagers from churches across Swansea and beyond.
Hosted at the Minster but supported by teams from a wide range of Swansea congregations, the gathering brings together 11–18 year olds for worship, prayer and testimony.
The most recent evening, held around Valentine’s Day, explored the theme of real love through God’s love for us.
Rev’d Rachel Bunting, Director of Under-25s Ministry at Swansea Minster, said: “It was a joy to worship alongside teenagers from across Swansea at the latest Youth Night. Linking with Valentine’s Day, we explored what real love means by looking at God’s love for us. The Minster was filled with praise as young people shared their testimonies, prayers and worship together.”
Youth Nights is an ecumenical project across Swansea and further afield and takes place termly. All young people are welcome, and it’s particularly aimed at 11–18 year olds.
The next Youth Night will take place on Friday, 1 May. More information and booking details can be found at Youth Nights.
