Revd Barney Pimentel, who will be one of the first to step into the harness make his way down the tower, said: “It would be wonderful if people could join us in this challenge that combines courage, community and compassion!
“Come and join us as we climb the winding stairs of our ancient tower, built in the 1480s. Step out onto the roof, take in the stunning view, and then follow the vicar over the edge! Abseil down the outside, admiring the wonderful restoration work completed this summer on your way to the ground.”
“Every donation helps in improving lives, supporting families, and building a stronger community.”
