Archbishop congratulates new Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster

Here's a statement from the Archbishop of Wales Cherry Vann on the appointment of Right Reverend Richard Moth as the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Westminster.

"On behalf of the Church in Wales, I offer my most heartfelt congratulations to the Right Reverend Richard Moth on his appointment as Archbishop of Westminster. 

At a time when our society needs, more than ever, the inspiration and the challenge of the Christian message, I know that Bishop Richard’s deep personal faith and his longstanding commitment to social justice will carry much-needed conviction.

It is our joy to work together with our Roman Catholic brothers and sisters in Wales, and I know that the prayers of the Church in Wales will be with Bishop Richard  as he takes up his new responsibilities."
