Church Tour (1)
In 1921 the new parish of St Julians was formed from the parishes of Christchurch and Maindee. The site for the Church was given by Mr A A R Firbank in 1925 and on September 24 the foundation stones were laid. The Church was consecrated just one year later, on September 23 1926. This was due to the persistence and hard work of a young priest,
Fr John Albert Cottrell, who became the first Vicar of the new parish.
