Items of Interest: 'Huchenfeld Cross of Reconciliation' in stained glass Very ancient roof beams. Incised stones |
| Some claim this church dates from the 5th century; it is the most ancient of the Ardudwy churches and was formerly the Parish Church of Harlech. The position in the sand dunes used to cause it to disappear whilst it was closed each winter. In recent years there has been a revival of interest in the church which is now used all year round. Several inscribed stones are of archaeological interest and gargoyles on the South wall may depict Llywelyn Fawr. |
