Diocesan Secretary
Salary: £44,501 - £50,349 per annum plus pension benefits The Diocese of Bangor is seeking to recruit to its key executive position of Diocesan Secretary. The Diocesan Secretary leads the administration team and works closely with the Bishop in supporting the development and implementation of strategy and policy to support God’s mission and ministry to the people in the large geographic area known as the Diocese of Bangor. The Diocesan Secretary has a wide ranging brief that encompasses office and personnel responsibility. Assistant Provincial Safeguarding Officer
Grade E (£29,482 - £33,356) Two Year Appointment We are seeking a qualified and experienced Safeguarding professional based in North Wales to expand the Church’s capacity to develop its safeguarding strategy. You must be able to demonstrate that you are: • Fully conversant with key legislation and experienced in developing best practice • Experienced in working with the statutory authorities • Experienced in working with vulnerable groups • An excellent communicator in both English and Welsh • Have a track record of delivering relevant training and information to a range of audiences The role will require travel across North Wales and from time to time other areas of Wales and you will be expected to work flexibly to meet the requirements of the position.
