to the Diocesan Report (Diocesan Conference Papers)
Dear Contributors,
Papers for Diocesan Conference 2008
I shall again be compiling papers for the 2008 Diocesan Conference, to be held at Brecon Theatre on Saturday 11th October (the usual second Saturday in October). As before the various reports will be assembled and "published" by use of computer desk-top publishing and the Resource centre copyprinter, and we shall encourage submission of questions in advance.
If you have a report to submit, please send it to me as soon as possible. Ideally I would like it by e-mail; or on computer disc or CD; (preferred formats are: .rtf, .txt, .doc) with a typescript. As a last resort, longhand manuscript will be interpreted creatively! Please note that I shall be away for much of August, but would like copy by 15th August or sooner if possible, and by Weds 3rd September at the very latest.
If you are not the person responsible, please pass on this request, and it would be helpful if you could let me know who is the new contributor - or indeed if there are other reports which ought to be included.
Nomination papers will be sent out shortly (for Governing Body and Representative Body, and the Disciplinary Tribunal). Voting papers will then be mailed with Conference Papers to be returned and counted before the Conference, with results announced there.
