Dr Penny Sartori speaks on her research into 'Near Death Experiences'.
A huge audience filled one of the biggest lecture theatres
on campus at Swansea University to listen to Dr Penny Sartori speak
on her research into 'Near Death Experiences' in a hospital context.
Dr Sartori who is an Intensive Care Staff Nurse at Morriston and Singleton
Hospitals in Swansea has conducted the first and biggest clinical study
of 'Near Death Experiences' in an Intensive Care Unit. Dr Sartori gave
a power point presentation of her research to a very appreciative audience
as part of Swansea University's Theology Public Lecture Series.
Such was the enormous response to this event that the doors of the lecture
theatre had to be shut five minutes or so before the start of the lecture
because there was simply no further room available. Some 70 or more
people were unable to gain admission because of the vast numbers who
attended. Sincere thanks to all those who came along and many apologies
to those who were unable to get in to the lecture theatre for this event.
