At Llyswen we are very fortunate in having Archdeacon Griffiths Church in Wales (Aided) Primary School, with about 100 pupils and four teachers. The school was created by the combining of a number of years ago of several of the smaller schools found in the surrounding villages.

There are very close links between the church and the school. These are supported by events such as Easter Garden competitions and the daily assemblies as shown above. The Vicar is also a regular visitor to the school and a majority of the governors are appointed by the Diocese.
