The Diocesan Centre
The Diocesan Centre, in the Cathedral Close contains:
- Diocesan Office (01874-623716),
- Cathedral Office (01874-623857),
- Canonry Flat for the Canon-in Residence (01874-610381).
Information is also held on numerous church related matters. Where the information is not readily to hand, the staff can point you in the right direction.
The Diocesan Office Resource Centre is open for:
- photocopying/printing,
- laminating,
- typing and associated work, (parish magazines, reports etc)
Available each weekday from 9.30am to 5pm.
The Centre has two rooms suitable for meetings. These are available to Parishes and Church groups, - for free. The facilities include: use of a kitchen (bring your own consumables). Also available on request: video player, flipchart and O.H.P.
Full catering is available via Pilgrims Tea Rooms (01874 610610).
The general public are also invited to make use of these facilities at competitive rates. Contact the Centre Manager Mrs. Pat Duggan on (01874 623716) and ask for Pat or Paul who will be able to deal with any enquiries you may have. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
The Eastmoor Centre
Following the sale of the Church and House of the Good Shepherd the religious education Resource Centre which has been much used since 1980, has now moved to St. Barnabas' Church, Hawthorne Avenue, Swansea. The Centre is now open for business and was dedicated by the Bishop on St. Barnabas' Day, 11th June, 1997.
