Redundant Churches

The Representative Body is responsible for the redundant churches following closure for worship.

The list below provides details of redundant churches that are currently available for sale. The properties are usually offered freehold with certain restrictions upon future use and further information can be obtained from the appointed selling agent.

The Representative Body is required to comply with charity law in the disposal of its property. No warranty can be given upon the accuracy of the descriptions of the properties shown.

St. Andrew’s Church, Beaufort

The former St. Andrew’s Church is located in the village of Beaufort and is approximately 2 miles from the town of Ebbw Vale.

St. Cain’s Church, Llangain

The former St. Cain’s Church is located in the village of Llangain and is approximately 4 miles from the town of Carmarthen.

St. Mary’s Church, Ambleston

The former St. Mary’s Church is located within the small rural village of Ambleston and lies some 9 miles north-east of Haverfordwest.

St. Mary’s Church, Brongwyn

The former St Mary’s Church is located alongside a road leading from Cwmcou towards Bryngwyn and joining up with the B4333 to Aberporth.

All Saints’ Church, Pontnewynydd

The former All Saints’ Church is situated on Hanbury Road, Pontnewynydd which lies to the north of the main local town of Pontypool.

Christ Church, Rhosybol

The former Christ Church is located in the centre of the village of Rhosybol between Llanerchymedd and Amlwch on the Isle of Anglesey.
