Inspections

There is no Constitutional requirement for a regular inspection of a Church Hall as there is for a church (the Quinquennial Inspection). However, PCCs must ensure that there is a proper process for identifying, planning and managing the maintenance of these buildings. A five yearly survey by a qualified architect or surveyor is strongly recommended, especially if the parish is thinking of improving the church hall and is applying for a grant, as many major funders will require proof of this.
