St. Peter's Church, Brynteg, Wrexham
The former St. Peter's church is situated on Church Road in the village of Brynteg, approximately three miles from Wrexham town centre. Brynteg is a largely residential area but has some local shops and a primary school. The building dates from 1894 and is grade II listed, so any new use will have to be sensitive to the character of the building. The notable church furniture designer Cecil Hare designed many of the interior furnishings including the pews, pulpit and lectern. Listed building consent and planning permission will be needed before any alterations can take place and advice should be sought from Wrexham County Council's Planning Department.
