The Church in Wales - Yr Eglwys yng Nghymru

the parish website scheme: Filling out the form

Picture

The final piece of information you can provide for your church is a picture. You don’t have to do this, but it is highly advised. It’s entirely up to you what the picture is of – it can be of the building, or of an event, or something to do with the church. If you have problems finding a picture, then try asking if anyone in your congregation has a digital camera and would be willing to take a picture for you.

Add the picture by clicking on the Browse button, and finding the picture on your computer - click once on the picture to select it, and then choose “open” at the bottom right of the window – see the screenshot below. The system will accept pictures in .jpg, .png, or .gif formats.

If the system rejects your picture, or the picture doesn’t appear on the website, then this is probably because the picture that you have uploaded is too big. See the resizing pictures section for details on how to to easily edit your pictures in order that this isn’t a problem.
