A Victorian church built upon a site of ancient Celtic worship. The site pre-dates Christianity as there is evidence of worship on this ite dating back some 4000 years in the form of a large standing stone in the graveyard.

Christmas and easter are always celebrated and details can be found in the Parish magazine


Notable Features

Of earlier churches little can be seen apart from the outline of the Llan, a fine early medieval font and piscina. The standing stone is impressive and like the founding saint is something of a mystery.


Transport

Public transport does not enter into the village but does run between Rhayader and Llandrindod on the main road across the bridge of the river Wye.
