From 3rd December 2009, the Benefice of Llanfrechfa & Llandegfedd was grouped with the Parishes of Caerleon & Llanhennock.
A service, led by Bishop Dominic, was held at All Saints' church Llanfrechfa, to celebrate the Collation & Induction of The Reverend Canon Arthur J Edwards, B.A., M.A.Phil. as Incumbent of the grouped parishes of Caerleon with Llanhennock with Llanfrechfa and Llandegvedd with Llanddewi Fach.
