St Mellons Parish Choir

A description of the choir and what they get up to

St Mellons Parish Choir is a wonderfully happy group of people who enhance and lead the worship of this church. This is a choir that sings to praise its Lord. They have a good repetoire of music and are willing to learn anything new.

Practice night is Wednesday from 6.30 - 7.30pm. After this birthdays are often celebrated in a local hostelry based on the reasonably sound philosophy that we are meant to be happy and that the church and the pub are often so closely bound together.

Their main service is the 11am Eucharist on a Sunday and they will sing evening services when requested.

Weddings are a speciality and they have two folders of music, "A" and "B", to use whilst the registers are being signed.

New members are always welcome especially youngsters and men. Ring the Vicar on 029 2079 6560 or come to church at 11am to find out more.

Young people in our choir are well looked after and the choir leaders are registered on our Parish Child Protection Policy.
