Diolch yn fawr a lawer o sbri gyda Mrs Morris

On Monday July 25th staff & governors attended a farewell/thanksgiving party for Mrs Jane Morris - our Deputy Head. Mrs Morris will officially retire as Deputy on August 31st. Somehow or another the party had been kept a secret and Mrs Morris's husband, Ken, her children and grandchildren were smuggled in by a side entrance. When Mrs Morris arrived it was to a fanfare of party poppers and "surprise"s all round. Her face was beaming as one might have expected.

The party had been ably organised by Mrs Naomi Thomas and the "honking geese" (she will go places ..... perhaps where no teacher has ever ventured before). The party was designed as a kind of twilight INSET session and all I can say is ....... Anyway the quiz was totally mind numbing but the Governors really should have taken the biscuit/prize with a mitre designed by Mrs Atherton and the team name chosen by Fr David - "Bishop Dominic"

Mrs Gwen Jones, our Chair of Governors paid tribute to Jane Morris's exemplary service to the school family and Canon Denison wished her well for a long and happy retirement.

Thank you Jane for all you've done for the school and for the help you've given to me.
