Our Bishop

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the family Eucharist service on Thursday morning. The elements of the service that the children wrote were very touching. Father David with gentle care guided the children in their understanding of ‘Corpus Christi’. Mrs Evans and Mrs Price led the singing and it was quite harmonious. I really enjoy listening to our children sing as their voices are tremendously uplifting. I think we have a brilliant school choir. It was good to see our Chair of Governors and other Governors joining in the Eucharist service as they always do. Bishop Dominic was pleased with our children. He is a genuinely warm hearted person and his faith shines through. He was particularly pleased that we are a Fair-trade school and he has recommended Fair-trade wine for future Eucharist services. The children presented him with a selection of their prayers and poems which I am sure he will enjoy reading.
