A New/Old Corridor #3
The Grand Opening
On Friday 18th June the school held a Grand Opening Ceremony with suitable pomp and circumstance. I even got a bottle of red wine out of it.
The ceremony was opened by the Headteacher Ms Angela Davies and then it was over to Bill, Beci (artists in residence) and (of course) the children. We had all sorts of entertainment inc ten facts about the nativity and life of our patron saint, David. It seems that he was a very Godly but somewhat strict individual. I wonder how we would survive in C21st schools? Here is a picture of some of the children doing a mini beast dance.
We also had some distinguished guests inc Governors, our Senior Primary Advisor, the local Police, Bishop's Visitor, Head of our sister school at St Mellons etc. Here is a picture of just some of them.
