Aims

The aims of the Committee are:

(a) to raise funds to help cover the cost of repairs and maintenance of the fabric of St David’s Church and Church Hall.

(b) some additional minor items (see Note below) 

Note

The funds held by the Social Committee are termed ‘Restricted Funds’, and as such cannot be used for any purpose other than that agreed when the Social C ommittee was first formed. The first call on the Funds of the Social Committee is the repair and maintenance of the fabric of St David’s Church and Church Hall, Laleston. Smaller, minor expenditure to provide for e.g. ‘treats’ for the Sunday School or such events as Christmas celebrations is allowed. The Fund cannot be used to offset the general running costs of the Parish and should not be regarded as such.
