The St Brides Major Branch of the Mothers' Union is the oldest in the Diocese of Llandaff, and was started by Mrs C.E.Booker in 1891.

The Branch holds a Coffee Morning at the house of one of the members on the first Tuesday of the month; a meeting at the Church Hall, Southerndown Road, St Brides Major, on the second Tuesday; and a Eucharist at All Saints' Church, Southerndown, on the fourth Friday.
