The Home Service
Home Communion Team
Home Service:
A team of Clergy and Lay people are working to bring the Sacrament of Holy Communion to people who are housebound at home or in residential care.
We normally visit on Wednesdays, but other days are possible by arrangement.
As well as up to thirty home visits , we take Communion to Ty Dewi Sant, The Waverley Care Centre, Ty Gwyn and Hazelhurst.
If you would like Communion at home please contact the Vicar or the Curate.
The service is one of Communion by extension and so takes about fifteen minutes at most. It includes an opportunity to say the general confession, a reading from the Gospels, the Lord's Prayer, and of course Communion in both kinds.
At the residential Homes we hold a service for a gathering of the residents.
The Home Service Team are:
Joyce Coleman, Carole Rees, Cynthia Conway,Enid Longman and the Clergy. Usually we visit on a monthly basis.
