Lesser Hall Refurbishment

Lesser Hall Refurbishment – completed December 12th 2011

The old kitchen has been removed and replaced with new units and appliances which meet Environmental Health guidelines. The project also included new tiling, flooring and decoration.

Both toilets have been refurbished with one being multi-access so that it is also suitable for disabled users. The second toilet also includes baby changing facilities.

Who funded the project?

A large proportion of the cost of the project was funded by two very generous grants. We received £5,000 towards the project from the Vale Centre for Voluntary Services. The refurbishment of the kitchen was supported by the Vale Centre for Voluntary Services through the Kick Start III Grant Scheme.

In addition, we received a further grant of £5,000 from Awards for All, Wales. This funding was used for the kitchen and the toilet refurbishment. The Big Lottery Fund distributes half of the National Lottery good cause funding across the UK. The Fund is committed to bringing real improvements to communities and the lives of people most in need.

All Saints Church are most grateful for these generous grants which have made the project possible. In addition to the grants received All Saints Parochial Church Council also agreed £2,000 to support the refurbishment project.
