Notable Features
Notable stained glass, especially works by John Pettit. St Mary's was built along non-conformist lines due to the influence of the vicar who commissioned it in 1857, Revd William Rowlands. It has side aisles rather than a central aisle, a prominent pulpit and a balcony.
