Pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham

The pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham on 21st July was the most wonderful experience, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, the accomodation was excellent and the people were so very friendly.

It was a time of prayer and reflection in the most loveliest of surroundings. The grounds are beautifully kept and the lavender was in full flower and was as good as Norfolk can produce.

The village itself is really ‘olde worldly’ with quaint shops full of very interesting items to tempt anyone.

Father Clive led quite a number of services which were very impressive. Sue and I felt very proud that he is our Vicar.

There will be another pilgrimage next year and I fully recommend this to anyone.
