Our Pray and Display Car Park
or should that be Pay and Display?
Faced with the ever-increasing cost of meeting our Parish Share, and in the knowledge that from 2009 the subsidy from the Church in Wales would disappear, the Benefice found a novel solution.
St Mary's Church is located in the centre of Betws-y-Coed and had a flat(ish) piece of land in the church grounds. Betws-y-Coed is short of parking spaces - so we built a 43 space car park!
It opened in 2005 and provides us with a useful source of income.
If you are visiting Betws-y-Coed by car, please use the car park and support the work of the parish.
Parking charges are:
Up to 2 hours - £1.00
Up to 3 hours - £1.50
Up to 4 hours - £2.00

Our late Bishop Tony Crockett blesses the car park. The steel cross came from the local Roman Catholic church which had recently closed.

A view of the car park from the top of the church tower (on a rather quiet day!).
