St. Tanwg
St. Tanwg's Church in Harlech was built is 1840. The font dates from the 15th century and was previously located at the ancient former parish church of Harlech (also called St. Tanwg)in the sand dunes at Llandanwg, a couple of miles south of Harlech. The fine Father Willis organ is about 150 years old and has been in Harlech for about a century. There are shields on the roof trusses and a fine cross suspended over the front of the nave. There is a grave yard to the North, East and South of the Church.

Transport
Harlech is on the Cambrian Coast railway line with direct trains south to Shrewsbury and Birmingham and onward to London and north to Porthmadog and Pwllheli.
The 38 bus runs through Harlech between Barmouth to the Oakley Arms at Tan y Bwlch, Maentwrog with connections to Blaenau Ffestiniog and link there to the Conwy Valley rail line to Llandudno Junction with onward connections to Chester, Manchester,Liverpool,London and Holyhead. The 38 bus stops in Harlech at the car park close to the church or at the railway station. There is a steep road (Twtil) up to the Castle and the High Street from the railway station.
