Mothers’ Union in Action, Llanfairpwll is part of the worldwide Mothers’ Union

Mothers' Union is a Christian organisation with more than 3.6 million members in 79 countries worldwide. The backbone of Mothers' Union is its worldwide network of grassroots volunteers. Whatever their individual backgrounds, members are united in their commitment to supporting marriage and family life. They give their time to generously help others, whether by running local projects, supporting international campaigns, or fundraising.

 

Mothers’ Union in Action, Llanfairpwll meet twice a month:

1st Thursday at 7.30pm in the Church Hall

3rd Thursday at 2pm in the Church Hall

So whatever your commitments, there is an opportunity to join us every month.

You can also be an active member ‘at home’ or ‘at work’ or ‘at play!’  We do NOT sit around drinking tea and chatting or being entertained.  We are ACTIVE!

 

Mothers’ Union in Action, Llanfairpwll is active in various local projects within our community and immediate locality.  We make and provide gifts and necessities for our local Women’s Refuge, Homeless Shelter, local Hospital to name but a few.  We organise and arrange all-age family activities throughout the year.

 

Mothers’ Union in Action, Llanfairpwll is active overseas, particularly with our Parish Link with All Saints’ Obanga pe Wany, Northern Uganda.  Mrs Milly Owino, the branch leader of the Mothers’ Union, All Saints is also a joint leader of our Mothers’ Union in Action, Llanfairpwll!  Mrs Sandra Hughes, the branch leader of Mothers’ Union in Action, Llanfairpwll is also joint leader of All Saints MU in Uganda!  This link has enabled our sisters in Uganda to undertake poultry projects and reach out in song, dance and evangelism within their local community.  All members of Mothers’ Union in Action Llanfairpwll have 2 prayer partners in Uganda and have developed close and supportive personal links in this way.
