After singing with LZ7 Gertie and friends from CAKE decided that CAKE would make their 'Little Light Shine'!

Over the summer LZ7 have been encouraging  thousands of people to let their light shine by doing  Acts Of  Kindness. 

Now they are saying 'It's Time To Shine. It's Time To Make Goodness Fashionable' .   So after performing on stage with LZ7 in Soul Survivor CAKE members put the song into action  with this year’s CAKE AOK.  They spent a cold November Saturday  in the Operation Christmas Child warehouse  checking and packing shoeboxes to be sent off to Liberia.  The CAKE group processed about 1400 shoeboxes during their day’s work.  To find out more about Operation Christmas Child see www.operationchristmaschild.org.uk and to see LZ7’s This Little Light of Mine go to www.youtube.com/watch?v=_C4XwH7UitU&feature=iv&annotation_id=annotation_372114
