Shotton
Shotton is situated in the North-East of Wales, along side the banks of the River Dee. This is a relatively new Parish, which was formed from the old Parish of Hawarden in 1911. The town itself is an industrial town whose population didn't really take off until the docks, and then Steel Works arrived nearby. Nowadays the steel industry is struggling with job cuts, although across the River Dee is the largest industrial estate in Europe.
Below are the details of churches within this parish.
