Motor cycles for Tanzania
The Diocese is hoping to buy enough motorcycles for each parish priest in our companion link diocese of South West Tanganyika to have one.
. . . and we're hoping to play our part. At the back of church there are some picture cards with squares on, each one worth 20p. Once all the squares are filled, you should have collected £8, which is 1% of our total. Please help by saving your 20p's, or cadging them off your friends!
The coffee morning in Church House for the motor-cycle appeal on Saturday 8th January, donations so far and a gift from our 'Prayer and Praise' group mean we have more than £450 towards the cost of 'our' bike. This will also be our Lent Appeal in 2011, and we're really hopeful that we'll be able to send a whole bike (or the money to buy one) from St Mary's! Thanks to everyone who's already helped!
