St John the EvangalistSt John's
Consecrated in 1862 on the 30th April, St John's Church has been the place of worship for the community of Pool Quay for nearly 150 years.
Extensively remodelled in 2004, the church now acts as a centre for the community, hosting the local Youth Group, Parish meetings, concerts and much more - it even has its own Tea Rooms.
We are situated on the A483, 8 miles south of Oswestry, 4 miles north of Welshpool.
Beautiful walks on canal behind the church, approximately 1 mile south towards Welshpool,site of the once Cistercian Monastery Strata Marcella
