Children join with the main congregation for the first part of the service, during which they are often invited to join in using percussion instruments to accompany a song.

After the readings, the children meet in the two meeting rooms in St Mary's, with their junior church leaders, to enjoy activites which include Bible stories, games, craft, discussion and chat and prayers.

When the main congregation start to receive communion, the junior church group then return to receive a blessing, either with their families or with the junior church leaders.

Junior Church caters for all children aged 3 - 14.  There are also creche toys available for those under 3.  New members of junior church are always welcome, and any visiting children are also very welcome to join in.
