Raglan & Usk Deanery Prayer Diary

Please pray for all our deanery events, especially our Refreshment Away Weekend in February, for Archdeacon Richard Pain’s new ministry in the Mamhilad Group, for Andrew Padfield’s new ministry as Lay Reader in the Usk Group, and for God to bless us all with the joy of Christmas.

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light – for to us a child is
born, to us a son is given.  And he will be called Wonderful Counsellor,
Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”  Isaiah 9:2 & 6

Please continue to pray each day of the month for the following:-

1st    New birth and the New Year to inspire our commitment to God.

4th    The love and joy of Christmas to fill this deanery.
5th    An openness to welcome Jesus into our lives.

7th    Those seeking baptism, confirmation or marriage this year.
8th    Rural Dean, clergy chapter, and our Deanery plan.
9th    Our monthly Deanery Informal Worship.

12th  The Deanery Intercessory Prayer Group.
13th  The children and young people of our deanery.

15th  More lay people exercising their spiritual gifts.
