SCRIPTURE FOR february 2012

Scripture for February - theme:  The words of the LORD.

“And the words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.” (Psalm 12:6, NIV)

Praise:  for the freedom we have to own a Bible and to meet together for fellowship and study.

Prayer:   for this year’s Lent course and for a fresh enthusiasm for God’s Word.

Please pray for all our deanery events, especially our Bible Teaching sessions, the ‘Growing Together’ groups, our Refreshment Away Weekend in February, and for all that strengthens our fellowship together.

Monmouth Diocesan Prayer

Lord God, renew your Church and begin with me. 
Heal our wounds, give us joy in our faith, draw many to share your life, and use us all in your service. 
For Jesus Christ’s sake, Lord of the Church, make us the Church of the Lord.
