the charity that reduces social isolation for people over 75 who live alone need 2 new volunteers for the Newport group. We organise monthly Sunday afternoon teas for a small group of 8 members. The teas are hosted by volunteers and the older guests are driven to the monthly venues by volunteer drivers. We only have 2 volunteer drivers from July and we do not want to close the group.

The time involved is about 3 hours a month including being at a tea.

From September we will also need a coordinator who rings the guests and drivers to liaise with the host for the numbers attending the tea. This takes about 2 hours a month. CTE do provide all support needed.
