Cathedral witness to the city
On the Saturday before Palm Sunday, members of the Cathedral and its staff went into the city to hand out 500 “Easter Goodie Bags” and 3000 cards. Inside the bags, which were printed with the Cathedral logo, were invitations to the Easter Services, post cards of the Cathedral, and other information about the work and witness of the Cathedral in the City of Newport, as well as two Easter eggs.
