St Mary’s bake a feast of cakes

Abergavenny Food Festival attracted 34,000 people to the town over its two days - and hundreds of them took the opportunity to visit St Mary's Priory Church where there was plenty for them to see and do — and to eat!
Home-made cakes had been baked in 'industrial-sized' quantities over the previous couple of days, including 400 biscuits made by the Vicar, Canon Jeremy Winston.
For the visitors it was a chance for a moment of peace, in an otherwise hectic and busy weekend.
