Confirmations
It was a great joy to have the bishop come to the parishes of Bedwas with Machen with Rudry to baptise and confirm on 30th June this year. The service was at Saint John the Baptist Church in Machen. There were five candidates from the three parishes (photographed here by a proud father).
Meanwhile, in Penallt on 19th July, Jordan (right) tries the bishop’s mitre on for size after his confirmation.
Also confirmed in Penallt that day was Bethan Jones, seen below with son Alfie.
