BIBLES FOR CHILDREN
The Revd John Humphries, Rector of Mynyddislwyn, is the area representative for Bibles for Children, a charity working to advance the understanding of the Christian faith through the provision of bibles to Primary School children and their schools throughout the UK.
Each child in the school receives a free bible at a special presentation and they take the bibles with them when they leave the school. It is anticipated that the bibles will be used in schools for Religious Education. The Children’s Bible, which is very ‘user friendly’ is used in some schools during the ‘Literacy Hour’.
