'Low' Sunday was certainly not low at St Cadoc's on Sunday 19th April as we celebrated the christening of Benjamin, the son of Revd Camilla Campling-Denton, Curate of Caerleon, and Chris Denton, the Assistant Organist at St Woolos. Following the Christening, Revd Camilla officiated at the Eucharist and Chris played the organ for the Anthem.
Also attending the service was Daphne Allison, St Cadoc's link person in the parish of Northmead in the Highveld. Daphne is also the Diocesan Link person and holds the post of Secretary of the RSCM for South Africa. It is therefore not surprising that she became a member of St Cadoc's choir for the service.
After a memorable and meaningful service, the congregation were able to greet both Benjamin, the new member of the church family, and talk with Daphne, a member of our extended church family in South Africa, while enjoying a cup of tea and a piece of christening cake!
