Church School training hits the mark

A very successful Church Schools’ Training Day was held in July this year. The day began with a Service at St Cadoc’s Church, Caerleon, which brought together members of staff from all our Church Schools.

Pictured here are staff from Ponthir Church in Wales Primary school who attended and undertook a range of activities from archery to Batik making, First Aid to yoga and a selection of very informative school-based activities and lectures.

Head Teacher Ceris Spooner says: “A great deal of hard work went into organising this day and on behalf of us all, thanks must be given to the organisers. We hope that this day will be repeated in the future. All my staff attended and were extremely impressed with the number of courses on offer during the day.”
