Days of Fun in Penllwyn
During the summer this year, St Mary’s Church in Penllwyn opened its grounds and building for two fun days for the children in the area and their parents.
Dozens of people came for what proved to be very enjoyable days. The children were always busy with team games, crafts, treasure hunts and a bouncy castle. The parents were able to sit and relax or help out as they wished.
As a result of this achievement, Revds Marion Barge and Ashley Hunt decided to have a further event – a free BBQ for everyone. So, on one of the few sunny days, the church and garden were packed again with people of all ages enjoying each other’s company and playing games. For many, this was the first time they had set foot in the church. What a wonderful experience of God’s generosity they received.
