A most memorable and enjoyable celebration on October 5th at St. David's, Fleur-de-lis, when many friends, family, and parishioners attended the special service to commemorate and give thanks to God for Desmond Pearce’s 20 years of ordained ministry.

Son Stephen, read the Gospel, daughter-in-law Christine, delivered the Sermon, and a lovely duet by daughter Mair and granddaughter Sarah, accompanied by grandson David on guitar made it extra special. Following this Desmond and Lucy very generously hosted an excellent lunch for us all (over 80 guests). Where he was warmly thanked and presented with gifts and cards, by Area Dean Reverend Trevor Morgan, and he said, “Here’s to the next 20 years!”
