Monmouth priest leads Welsh team to
golf victory

The Church in Wales Golf Team beat the Church of England Golf Team for the first time in ten years at a tournament at Shrewsbury. It was quite a dramatic victory and the whole match was played as ever in the best of spirits. As a former captain of the Church of England team I was allowed to receive the trophy, pictured here, on behalf of the Church in Wales team and present it to Bishop Dominic! The silver plate is on display in the RB offices.
