Elizabeth takes the plunge for God!

On 6th July, Elizabeth O’Connor was baptised by total immersion in the baptistery at Christchurch, Ebbw Vale. This was the first time the baptistery has been used for baptism in over a hundred years. The rector, Revd Geoff Waggett, led the service and baptised Elizabeth. The preacher, Revd Nick Perry, took 2 Samuel 2:1-11 as the focus for the sermon, demonstrating what it means to be part of the Kingdom of God. We pray for Elizabeth as we welcome her into the family of God.
