Holy Week Taize Service at Newbridge

This photograph was taken at the Taizé Service held on the Wednesday of Holy Week at St Paul's Church in Newbridge. The whole of the church was lit with candles only and the three lit crosses appeared to be floating.

Holy Week is an important part of our church year leading to Good Friday and the joy of Easter Day. This Taizé Service has become an annual event at our church and more and more parishioners attend each year.

We were accompanied this year by our church organist, Mr Selwyn Morgan, and, on the flutes, Miss Lindsay Jefford and Mrs Belinda Roberts. This added to the whole experience.
