Caldicot Male Voice Choir sing the right note for Caerwent Organ Restoration

group photoA recent concert in aid of the Memorial Organ held at the Church of St Stephen and St Tathan, Caerwent was a sell out. The Choir and special guests, 16year old Sophie Harris of Sudbrook and opera singer, Lucy Van-Gasse, enthralled the audience. The evening raised £765 which would be matched-funded by Barclays Bank as part of the Community Investment Programme.

£30,000 is needed to restore the organ which was dedicated on 2nd May 1928 in “grateful memory of the eleven men from this parish who gave their lives in the Great War, 1914-1918...whose names are set forth on the wall adjoining”.
